A great opportunity to buy a sailboat while investing in our Sacramentan high risk youth

Balboa 26ft 1974

now just

$5,750.00

The boat is owned by YCU and was used for youth activities; a sailing program by them. The only reason we are selling it as that a larger boat has been given to us enabling us to increase the number of young people who can be involved and benefit from the program.

100% of the proceeds of sale of the Balboa will go into the sailing program for these young people. We are able to tow the boat to anywhere in North America for the cost of gas and expenses.

Should the new owner have a business we will give the business free advertising on our website as a community supporter of Youth Connections Unlimited.

It has had five modifications which greatly enhance the living area and sailing ability of the boat.

  • The forward cabin has been gutted and refurbished with the head and sink area being removed and enlarging the V berth to a comfortable double berth.
  • A second hatch has been installed in the main salon giving more fresh air and light.
  • The starboard berth has been removed and replaced with a large bench space with fridge and cabinets underneath.
  • The hatch cover has been raised about 8 inches creating a small doghouse look with narrow windows under the hatch cover. It also gives 6’2” standing room at the companion way with an ability to look out without opening the hatch cover .
  • The original rudder has been replaced with a much larger rudder mounted on the transom giving much more room in the cockpit and making lee helm something you only read about. It is also easy to lift off for shallow waters or trailering.
